Foundations for Creating a Focused and Confident Canine

Description:

This 6-week program, which is based on the Control Unleashed books written by Leslie McDevitt, will teach you and your dog how to relax, focus, and work together as a team in distracting situations. This is a great class for dogs who may have difficulty concentrating in a traditional group training class. This class is like no other you have taken. We focus on understanding your dog's behavior and shaping good manners using science-based training techniques, without the use of force or corrections. Class size is kept small (4 dogs) so you receive more individual attention.

Requirements:

• All dogs will be pre-screened via a behavior questionnaire prior to enrollment approval, to ensure a group class setting is an appropriate fit for your and your dog. 

• 5 months or older.

• Prior training classes: No

• Ability to swap classes: No

• Proof of vaccinations are required prior to the first class.

Cost:

This 6-week series is $225. Class meets once a week for 6 weeks. Each class is 60 minutes.

Note:

• You MUST preregister for this class by completing the attached New Client Intake Form and emailing it to: dogtrainingwithkara@gmail.com.

• Once your enrollment is confirmed, payment will be due on or before the start of class (payments can be made via cash, check, credit card (2.8% fee), Zelle, CashApp, and Venmo).

• Refunds: No refunds will be issued on or after the first class.
